The Altelix NF141208BVFA1C Graphite Black Vented Fan Cooled Weatherproof NEMA Enclosure with 120VAC Power and Aluminum Equipment Plate is ideal for
protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. This rugged
NEMA box is molded from durable and UV resistant black fiberglass reinforced
polyester (FRP) with a UL94-5V flame rating. It features a gasketed door with stainless
steel continuous hinge and stainless steel latches with provision
for padlocks. It is suitable
for use indoors or outdoors.
This JIC style enclosure is dent-proof, corrosion
resistant and UV stable. The FRP material is non-conductive and RF
transparent. It is suitable for use in the harshest outdoor
environments. It can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit
unique site requirements.
This model features an aluminum equipment mounting plate with four pre-wired 120VAC power outlets. A terminal strip and ground lug are
provided for simplified wiring on-site.
Plug and Play
The NF141208BVFA1C features a 5 foot pre-wired power cord to provide power to the internal 120VAC outlets, so no additional wiring is required. Simply mount the enclosure then plug the power cord into a 120VAC outlet.
Aluminum Equipment Plate
The enclosure and plate can be drilled and
by the installer to suit unique site requirements. In addition the
mounting plate features a number of pre-drilled hole patterns for
wireless access points without any modifications. These
include various models of Cisco® Aironet® , MikroTik, Ubiquiti®
Rocket®, Mimosa, Aerohive® and more.

The black color of the NF141208BVFA1C makes it ideal for deploying surveillance and security equipment as well as building automation control equipment which typically requires low visibility.
Cooling Fan Ventilation
The NF141208BVFA1C features dual 4" vents and a thermostat controlled cooling fan. The low noise, high
airflow fan helps maintain lower internal temperatures. The fan
turns on when the internal temperature reaches 100°F (38°C) and turns
off when it drops to 79°F (26°C). The fan is wired internally so it does not
require the use of the AC outlets leaving them available for equipment use. Rain shrouds on the front door keep rain water from
entering the enclosure, and screens are removable for
cleaning. A dual fan option is also available.

Four removable stainless steel mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure. Two optional flange and pole mounting kits are available, painted steel (model NMKS-300-08) and stainless steel (model NMKX-300-08).
